Eileen
Neff got a masters degree in painting from Tyler about 30 years ago. But then she took a black and white photography class and has been doing photography ever since.
Neff has done many
installations in museums with her photographs. She collages photos on top of each other, adds painted elements to some of them, and uses real objects as elements in a few of her displays. Eileen
Neff continued to create
installations until a car accident changed the direction she was headed in art. Now
Neff creates images with the help of a computer. Lately her favorite images have been made of a blurred landscape and a central image.
Neff also works with
Photoshop (I assume) to blend photos together and create images that you wouldn't
necessarily see out in the wild.
