Wolgin Exhibition

Very interesting! I went to it with a clear mind and was captivated by the art work. All three artists had very different, yet intriguing exhibits. Michael Rakowitz's artwork was a tie for first (with Sanford Biggers') in my mind. I loved the intricacy of the artifacts that he recreated. I also really like the thought process behind his exhibit. Recreating stolen artifacts from a looted Iraq museum made for a brilliant display. His craftsmanship was best out of the three....Sanford Biggers also had a very thought provoking display. You needed to come in with an open mind to really appretiate his work. I don't really even know how to describe it. You have to see it for yourself and let your imagination go to work...
